entitys is one of the few PIM vendors that publishes its complete price list, including every add-on. Most PIM vendors, especially enterprise suites, only quote prices on request, and the final cost depends on negotiation and on separate implementation partner projects. With entitys, buyers can calculate the full subscription cost before the first sales call.

### Market context

Published figures from other vendors (as of October 2026):

- **Enterprise PIM suites** such as Centric PXM (formerly Contentserv) do not publish prices; licenses are quoted on request and implementations typically run as partner projects of 6 to 12 months.
- **Akeneo** offers a free self-hosted Community Edition; its cloud package Growth starts at €35,000 per year, the Advanced and Premium packages are quote-only. Implementation is usually done by partners and billed separately.
- **Pimcore** publishes license prices for its on-premises editions (Professional $9,900 per year, Enterprise $29,900 per year); its PaaS edition is priced on request. Hosting, implementation and development are additional, typically via an agency.

Across the market, implementation services frequently exceed the first-year license cost, and classic PIM projects take 5 to 12 months before the system delivers value. A common rule of thumb for budgeting a classic PIM project is two to three times the license price in the first year.

## Onboarding (Launch Packs)

Every new customer starts with a one-time Launch Pack. entitys runs onboarding with its own in-house team, without an external implementation partner. Launch Packs are done with you, not done for you: entitys sets up the data model, imports, exports and data sheet templates together with the customer's team and enables them to maintain everything themselves afterwards.
